WPTA will be broadcasting from Washington D.C. this week during the Inaugural Parade. Take a look at a recent broadcast from Culver Academies below and keep an eye out this week for additional coverage of our student riders.

Congresswoman Jackie Walorski spent some time with Culver students last night before they leave for D.C. A pizza party and some encouraging words served as motivation for students as they complete their last day of classes before boarding buses for the nation’s capitol. Thanks to ABC57 for their coverage of last night’s event.

The Presidential Inaugural Committee has released the final details around the parade schedule and order. The parade will begin at 2:00 P.M. EST on January 20, 2017.
There are five divisions. Culver will appear in division 2. The order for division 2 is as follows.

United States Marine Corps Color Guard
United States Marine Corps Reserve
Navajo Code Talkers Association
United States Border Patrol Pipes and Drums

A detailed itinerary is now available for student riders attending the 2017 Presidential Inaugural Parade.
Many of the scheduled activities are tentative due to the nature of D.C. during this time.
The parade is schedule to begin between 2:00 P.M.. Culver is in division 2 (out of 5). So you can expect to see them during the first half of the parade.
The order of division 2 is as follows:
Although the details surrounding the parade times haven’t been released, we do have a good idea of who will be covering the activities on the 20th.
